In his welcome to HRPA’s 57th Annual CHRO Summit, “Strategic Catalysts: The CHRO’s Essential Role in Driving Transformation,” Board Chair Tim Richmond invited attendees to “learn and use your peers as sounding boards” as we come together to discuss the “perpetual transformation [that] is essential if we are to innovate, engage our workforce, and win in the marketplace.”
Over 160 members including nearly 25 CHROs in new roles, gathered in Orlando, Florida last week to discuss all aspects of transformation – from technology and changes in federal policy to the roles played by CHROs and their HR teams.
The Summit also featured a deep dive into the current assault on DEI and next steps for companies, a special session with Tim Hourigan, VP of HR and Ted Decker, CEO of The Home Depot on the value of the CEO-CHRO relationship, and a keynote from author and commentator, David Brooks on insights for people leaders from his latest book “How to Know a Person.”
