The HR Policy Quarterly NLRB Update report launched this week, providing an in-depth look at the latest Board developments for employers to watch. The inaugural edition highlights significant decisions issued by the Board, cases to watch, Office of General Counsel initiatives, rulemakings, and an overview of HR Policy’s engagement with the Board for the first quarter.
The report provides a comprehensive update of law and policy developments at the National Labor Relations Board. HR Policy will publish a new edition of the report each quarter featuring guest experts, and will host a complementary webinar on the most pressing issues at the Board for employers.
In conjunction with the release of the report, HR Policy held a webinar where panelists offered valuable perspectives on what employers can expect from the Board and practical guidance for ensuring compliance in an increasingly pro-union, anti-employer regulatory environment. Highlights included discussion centered on the difficulties of Board stances on workplace civility rules and employee voice will present to employer diversity, equity, and inclusion efforts.
PANELISTS
“The Board’s approach to labor policy appears backward, in that it is focused on making it easier for unions to win as opposed to bettering the collective bargaining process,” added Mr. Hayes.
