HR Policy members have long recognized the importance of a diverse and inclusive workplace culture. HR Policy member CHROs understand the fundamental role such a culture plays in enabling their organizations to attract, motivate, and develop the caliber of talent needed to run a successful business.
Our members have a longstanding commitment to inclusion and diversity. Their CHROs take proactive steps and initiatives to ensure their companies are fostering positive and respectful workplaces free from any forms of discrimination.
HR Policy has developed a Council on Inclusion and Diversity as part of Association membership to help shape public policy and promote emerging best practices on gender, racial, ethnic, LGBTQ and diversity. The Council is made up of member CHROs working together with Association staff to advance workplace inclusion and diversity solutions.
HR Policy has also consistently advocated for policies that advance inclusion and diversity initiatives, such as the Equality Act. The Association will continue to work with policymakers to find legislative and regulatory solutions that properly incentivize the business community to take meaningful action on inclusion and diversity in the workplace, to the benefit of all stakeholders.
