Tom Scales
Tom is a global healthcare executive with a broad range of digital health and biopharmaceutical experience. Tom joined Omada in 2021 after serving for two decades in leadership positions across multiple healthcare companies including Eli Lilly and Company, GSK and Intercept Pharmaceuticals.
He holds dual Bachelor of Arts degrees in English and Psychology from Vanderbilt University and a Masters of Business Administration from the McCombs School of Business at the University of Texas at Austin.
A multifaceted commercial leader, Tom has led functions including sales, account management, business development, strategy, marketing and market access both in the US and internationally. As Omada’s SVP of Sales and Payer Access, Tom is responsible for growing and maintaining Omada’s partnerships with the nation's leading employers, health plans, health systems and providers.
Prior to his career in healthcare Tom served as a Peace Corps Volunteer in Paraguay. He and his wife, Suse, live in North Carolina with their two daughters.
