Eric Sodergren
As the Vice President of National Accounts for existing business, Eric has overall responsibility for leading the team of Cigna professionals that manage Cigna’s largest client relationships, those employers with greater than 3,000 employees. This responsibility spans across all of Cigna’s lines of business including medical, supplemental medical, dental, pharmacy and EAP/behavioral health.
Eric has more than 30 years of experience working in the Healthcare industry. Prior to joining Cigna, Eric spent 4 years leading Aon’s Health Solutions practice in the Carolina’s and over 28 years with Aetna serving in various leadership roles of increasing responsibility, most recently serving as the National Accounts Market Vice President for Aetna’s Mid-South market. Eric has managed teams and employer relationships across the country for over 20 years and has extensive experience working with large multi-site employers. Eric holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Connecticut and a MBA from the University of Hartford.
