Dionne Wallace Oakley
Dionne Wallace Oakley is Senior Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer at Freddie Mac. She is a member of the company’s senior operating committee and reports directly to CEO Michael DeVito.
As head of Human Resources (HR), Wallace Oakley is responsible for the company's human capital strategy and employee engagement, leading a team of experts who deliver best-in-class talent management, compensation and total well-being programs along with HR solutions such as workforce technology, analytics and insights. Wallace Oakley also leads Freddie Mac’s diversity, equity and inclusion strategy to attract, engage and develop employees, Minority- Women- and Disabled- Owned Businesses and other diverse suppliers while overseeing our community engagement program. Wallace Oakley ensures compliance of diversity requirements mandated by law and directed by Freddie Mac's regulator and conservator, the Federal Housing Finance Agency.
Prior to Freddie Mac, Wallace Oakley served as executive vice president, Human Resources and Strategy at Erie Insurance. Prior to Erie, she spent more than two decades at State Farm Insurance where she progressed through multiple geographies, positions and disciplines ranging from underwriting, public affairs, auto claims and human resources.
Wallace Oakley earned a bachelor's degree in marketing and business from Delaware State University and a master's in human resource development from Towson University in Baltimore. She is active in the community and is a member of the Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. and the HR Policy Association.
