Silvana Battaglia
Silvana Battaglia is Executive Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer for Cencora, Inc. She oversees strategies that build a high-performance, inclusive global culture, driving organizational effectiveness and transformational change across the business, and enhancing the employee experience for more than 46,000 team members. Silvana leads all aspects of Cencora’s human capital agenda across more than 50 countries, including talent acquisition and management, total rewards, and organizational development.
Prior to joining Cencora (formerly AmerisourceBergen) in 2019, Silvana served in senior human resources leadership roles at Aramark where she was responsible for shaping the human capital strategy for their global workforce in areas of succession planning, executive compensation, labor relations, and transformational change programs. Previously, she held senior leadership roles at both Day & Zimmermann and Merck, after gaining early experience at Wyeth Pharmaceuticals and Colorcon, a Division of Berwind Pharmaceuticals.
In addition, Silvana currently serves as an independent member of the board of directors for agilon health (NYSE: AGL) and is an advisory board member for Saint Joseph’s University Haub School of Business where she also served as an adjunct faculty member. She formerly served on the board of directors as an executive committee member for The Greater Philadelphia Chamber of Commerce and The Center for Autism. Silvana is certified by the National Association of Corporate Directors (NACD).
Silvana graduated from Temple University with a Bachelor of Arts in marketing and received her Master of Science in human resources from Widener University.
