Kylie Nicolson

Kylie is responsible for directing IBM’s Employee Concerns function across the Asia region. She is the upline leader to 20 Employee Relations professionals dispersed across ASEAN, Australia, New Zealand, India, Southeast Asia, Korea, GCG and Japan. She leads IBM’s Employee Concerns Delivery Hub team globally.
She and her team are responsible for managing end to end investigations, management of complex employee relations matters, employee grievances and misconduct, and all associated disciplinary processes. Her responsibilities include global HR & line management enablement on expected standards of behaviour, and consulting with senior leaders on related complex employee relations matters.
Kylie has led significant transformations within the IBM Employee Concerns function globally. She led the transformation, automation, and streamlining of processes and practices using cloud-based technology, tooling platform integrations, Generative AI, and data analytics. This strategic transformation resulted in improved employee experiences with the function, enabling team members to have a stronger focus on higher value work, and digitalization of reporting and analytics to provide key insights and trends to senior leaders.
Kylie has held previous HR leadership roles at IBM, including Leadership of Workforce Diversity and Inclusion, Organizational Culture and Change and HR Partner roles. She has lived in Vietnam, where she worked for the Australian Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade. Kylie has a Bachelor of Arts from Monash University in Melbourne, Australia.
