Hilary Hageman
Hilary Hageman is executive vice president, general counsel and corporate secretary of SAIC. As SAIC’s senior legal advisor, Hageman oversees the legal, internal audit, internal controls, ethics, and risk management activities of the company. A proven business leader, Hageman has extensive legal experience in a wide spectrum of areas, including public corporate law, government contracting, mergers and acquisitions (M&A), national security law, corporate governance, and general legal compliance.
Hageman served as senior vice president and deputy general counsel at SAIC until 2019 when she became the general counsel and corporate secretary of Cubic Corporation, a public technology company serving the defense, intelligence and transportation sectors. At Cubic Hageman managed the company’s law, ethics, contracts, global trade and security functions and oversaw all legal aspects of the company’s M&A activities including the successful sale of the company in a transaction valued at approximately $3B.
Immediately prior to her return to SAIC in July 2022, Hageman served as executive vice president, general counsel and corporate secretary for a public satellite company primarily supporting the defense and aerospace industries. Hageman also has held other senior legal roles, including at CACI as Principal Deputy General Counsel, and at the U.S. Department of Defense.
Hageman earned a Master of Laws degree from Georgetown University, a Juris Doctorate degree from Emory University School of Law, and a Bachelor of Arts degree in History from Vassar College.
