Leslie W. Braksick, PhD
Dr. Leslie Braksick—executive, entrepreneur, CEO coach, board member, and author—co-leads MyNextSeason to support companies and individuals during important transitions across the career continuum—and ensure they happen well. Leslie draws on decades of expertise as an advisor to senior corporate leaders, bringing deep understanding to the complexity of professional season transitions. She co-founded MyNextSeason, a first-to-market company, to help individuals realize joy, purpose, and their greatest success as they live into their next seasons.
MyNextSeason partners with corporations and universities to positively impact the lives of transitioning professionals and their organizations. Initially focused on executive transitions, the company now includes Early Career and Executive Advising as well as board assessment and refreshment, and CEO mentoring and succession planning. In 2020, Leslie helped launch ProjectYou, a business helping college students and young professionals achieve clarity, confidence, and capabilities in their work lives.
Prior to launching MyNextSeason, Leslie co-founded the management consultancy Continuous Learning Group, Inc. (CLG) which specializes in strategy execution for Fortune 500 companies. Leslie led and grew CLG as its Chairman and President/CEO and Executive Advisor to seniormost clients.
Leslie’s works on executive leadership and transition are used in graduate programs and corporations in the US and abroad. She recently co-authored Preparing CEOs for Success: Insights from CEOs and Directors, updating an earlier publication to reveal important shifts in how to best prepare and onboard C-Suite Executives. She additionally co-authored the company’s first book, Your Next Season: Advice for Executives on Transitioning from Intense Careers to Fulfilling Next Seasons. Her earliest book, Unlock Behavior, Unleash Profits made WSJ’s Business Best Seller list.
Leslie currently serves on the Board of Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh and is on the Chief Global Officer Council of the University of Pittsburgh Joseph M. Katz Graduate School of Business. She also serves as Director & Chair of Nominating & Governance for the annual Eradicate Hate Global Summit held in Pittsburgh. In 2023, she was appointed Emeritus Board Member of Princeton Theological Seminary. Leslie holds a doctorate in Applied Behavioral Science and a master’s degree in Industrial Psychology from Western Michigan University.
