For more than forty years, Dr. Douglas E. Schoen has been one of the most influential opinion pollsters, corporate strategists, and Democratic campaign consultants. A founding partner and principal strategist for Schoen Cooperman Research, as well as PSB Insights, he is widely recognized as a pioneering innovator in the opinion polling and quantitative market research industries. He has served as an adviser and chief strategist for President Bill Clinton, former New York City Mayor Mike Bloomberg, numerous Members of Congress and Governors, as well as the heads of state of over fifteen countries. Schoen is also the author of more than twenty books and is a regular contributor to The Wall Street Journal and Washington Post, among various other publications. He graduated magna cum laude from Harvard, holds a degree from Harvard Law School, and has his doctorate in philosophy from Oxford University. He has lectured at the Institute of Politics at Harvard University John F. Kennedy School of Government, the Annenberg School for Communication at the University of Pennsylvania, and the School of International and Public Affairs at Columbia University.
