Ed Thompson is Vice President of Labor and Employee Relations at Caterpillar. With 34 years of LR/HR experience, Ed has helped lead global labor relations functions for large global companies such as Kimberly Clark and Kellogg’s. Ed is a veteran of the U.S. Army, where he served as a helicopter and airplane pilot. Ed is a graduate of Texas A&M (BS Biology) and Golden Gate University (MS Human Resources). He holds GPHR, SPHR, and SHRM-SCP certifications along with a commercial pilot's license.
