Jobipedia's New eBook Hits the Mark

October 21, 2016

The fourth eBook from Jobipedia, In Hindsight: Hiring Experts Share Their Own Career Firsts, is being distributed across college campuses to rave reviews and endorsements.  Aidee Casillas from the Portland State University career office summed up the typical response by saying, "It's fantastic!  A really unique perspective that I think students will relate to and learn from!"  Over 7,000 copies have found their way to college campuses across the U.S. and it is being used by member companies visiting career fairs and recruiting events.  Separately, Jobipedia is hosting a webinar series—Develop Soft Skills and Get Ahead—created to help college students understand these unique and important skills.  In it, prospective employees learn about the soft skills that employers want, how to effectively describe soft skills that translate into the workplace, and how to develop soft skills in part-time jobs, internships and everyday life.  This session is being promoted to college students and registration is free.  If you would like to learn more about the session, or have one hosted for your current or summer interns, you can email Mike McGuiness, Jobipedia’s Executive Director, at mike@jobipedia.org.
